Toozeday Nooze

Toozeday Nooze
EDITION 520 - 06/11/2024

This monthly bourse is this Saturday at the library.
We currently have the first annual Al Sarvi and David Bushard Remembrance Fund Raiser happening, and one generous donor has offered to match the first $1,000.00 that comes in.
The celebration of Life for Al Sarvi is this Saturday. The restaurant is in Robbinsdale.
It's not too early to let me know about schedule changes for July. I know in the past several clubs have held their meetings at EXPO instead of their regular meeting times and locations. So far, I have heard from the GPS. Please do not assume that I know of your changes, even if I am a member of your club. There is a lot going on in July, and if I do not receive your notices, it is very likely that they will not make it into the schedule. All four weeks of the Nooze are probably going to be prepared at one time and scheduled for posting on their respective dates. You may send your changes to me at pjflaherty58@gmail.com
My cover this week was sent from Calhoun, Georgia to Kabinda, Belgium Congo on November 9, 1927. It took over six weeks to reach its final destination after first traveling through Capetown. The stamp is Scott number 637, which is a common stamp. The destination is uncommon, and it was sent to reverend T.E. Reeve who was a Baptist Missionary bringing Christianity to the native people.
If you have anything that you want shared let me know at pjflaherty58@gmail.com
