| This Saturday would have been the day for a presentation, but I was not informed on any scheduled. We do, however, have some fascinating programs coming in September and October. The one in September will be on the Japanese Internment Camps of World War Two. This will be presented by Bob Akaki. The October presentation will be on U.S. Revenues by Bob Hohertz. We will have more information as we get closer to the time of each. |
| My cover this week is a small stampless cover sent from the U.S to the Kingdom of the Nederland. It left New York on August 15, 1848, and was received at its destination September 27th. It has several rate markings on it, but I can't make them all out. The back has a wax seal. |
