| The board meeting is this Saturday. |
| The Second Sunday Show will actually be on the Second Saturday this month. |
| The Minnesota Postal History Society has changed their meeting date this month and they will be meeting on Thursday May 23rd this month due to a scheduling conflict at the library. |
| Please plan on helping us with a big clean-up day on Saturday the 11th prior to our big unveiling of the newly remodeled space. |
| We have added the Lyon County Stamp Club to our list of events. They meet on the second Monday each month. I don't know much more than that. |
| We will not have a presentation this month as the fourth Saturday is on Memorial weekend. We will have a fantastic presentation for June. |
| My cover this week is a wrapper for the Stars and Stripes paper sent from France to the U.S. during World War One. At that time, it was a weekly eight-page newspaper that was printed in France and had 526,000 readers. |

| On Saturday 4/27 we enjoyed a very interesting presentation by Joe Johnson on the color differences in the US #10 and #11 and how those differences came about. I learnt a lot as my knowledge is not in US stamps but more in Australian and British Commonwealth. |

| The library is currently running a memorial fund raiser in honor of two of our founding members who have passed: David Bushard and Al Sarvi who both gave a huge amount to the library.
