| Please remember to let me know of schedule changes for your club this month. We have two clubs that have changed their meeting date this month. The first is the Minnesota Postal History Society. They are having their meeting on December 10th due to scheduling conflicts at the library. The location remains the same. The second is the Maplewood Stamp Club. They also have conflicts due to the churches Holiday programs. If I remember correctly, they are meeting on the 12th. If this is not correct, please send me an email at pjflaherty58@gmail.com |
| This week I have a Thanksgiving postcard for your viewing pleasure. The post card was sent from Karlstad, Minnesota to Englund, Minnesota on November 23, 1907. The post office in Karlstad opened in Kittson County a couple years prior in 1905. The post office in Englund closed in Marshall County in 1908. It had opened in 1889. The mail has been handled by the post office in Strandquist since that time. |

There will be refreshments available, so come and participate. It's like a garage sale for stamp collectors. Come a little early to get the best spot and set up your stuff. |
