| The Maplewood Stamp Club is meeting on the third Thursday this month due to the Thanksgiving holiday. |
| My cover this week is from Louisville, Mississippi. When I bid on this it was listed as Louisville, Kentucky. I could clearly see that the state started with an "M". A little research told me that there have been 41 Louisville post offices in the U.S. Of those and in the time period of this cover only three states started with an M. They are Minnesota, Mississippi and Missouri. Although the second letter in the state is hard to read it was easy to eliminate Missouri as all of the covers with the state name abbreviated for Missouri would have been MO. That left Minnesota which would have been M.T. and Mississippi which was Mi. I was trying to see a T as hard as I could. A little more research told me that there are no known Louisville, Minnesota covers known from Minnesota territory and if one does exist it would most likely be with a manuscript cancel. I have to concede that this is most likely Mississippi. |

| The search for me is fun and our library has all the books to help with that search. The research I did for this cover was all with books that we have in our library and we have volunteers that can help you with your search. |
| To sign up for the Toozday Nooze go to our website at NORPS.org, there you will find a link for the Toozday Nooze and on the event page where you can sign up to receive the Nooze every week and keep up on events and programs at the library as well as happenings with the local stamp clubs and shows. I have been told this does not work with some phones but should be accessible from your computer. You do not need to be a member of the library to receive this, but I encourage you to do so. We are run and organized 100% by volunteers and your donations keep the doors open and the lights on. |
