| Tis the season to let me know if your club has a different winter schedule. I already know that the Minnesota Postal History Society does not meet in January and February. |
| During the winter months when the weather gets bad many of the clubs and even the library will close or change their meeting dates and times. Check with your club to find out how they handle these closures. |
| The library will be closed on December 24, 25,31 and January 1st. I have not heard about additional days off around the holidays. |
| There is confusion about this month's Maplewood Stamp Club meeting. Members are encouraged to bring treats to share, but this is NOT their holiday party. That will be in January, and food will be catered in. We will have more details in January. |
| My covers this week is by request. Throughout the years and in different cultures Santa has had many outfits other than the traditional red suit. Here are a few different looking Santas that I have found throughout the years on postcards. |

| To sign up for the Toozeday Nooze go to our website at NORPS.org, there you will find a link for the Toozeday Nooze and on the event page where you can sign up to receive the Nooze every week and keep up on events and programs at the library as well as happenings with the local stamp clubs and shows. I have been told this does not work with some phones but should be accessible from your computer. You do not need to be a member of the library to receive this, but I encourage you to do so. We are run and organized 100% by volunteers and your donations keep the doors open and the lights on. |

We started this as a monthly event, and it has continued to grow and expand. Just bring your stamps, covers, stories and any other philatelic items to sell, trade and buy. There will be refreshments available, so come and participate. It's like a garage sale for stamp collectors. Come a little early to get the best spot and set up your stuff. |
