| We have a great presentation coming up on Saturday, February 24. Kathy Johnson will have a hands-on presentation on how to prepare an exhibit. Kathy has years of experience as an exhibitor and as a philatelic judge. If you have ever exhibited or just thought that you would like to, this program will help you prepare your exhibit and you will have a better understanding of what a judge looks for in a winning exhibit. |

| My covers for this week are by the local St. Paul artist: Carolyn Marks who produces cachets under the name of "Bella Cachets". Carolyn has been creating hand drawn, hand painted cachets since 2015. She is also a member of ACE, and the current President of the club. I had the pleasure of visiting with Carolyn at SNOWPEX. For those unfamiliar, ACE is an acronym for Artist Cover Exchange. They have been around since the 1930's. If anyone is interested in learning more about ACE or becoming a member, please send me an email at pjflaherty58@gmail.com and I will make sure it gets to Carolyn. |
