| I had listed the Chapter 14 Scandanavian Club meeting incorrectly in last week's Nooze. It is this Thursday, the 14th. Meeting starts at 6:00 and they are having their annual Fall Auction at 7:00 PM. |
| My cover this week is a postcard sent from New York to Portugal in 1905. It was short paid, and a Portuguese J9 postage due stamp was applied to make up the rate. Early Portuguese postage due stamps on cover or postcard are uncommon. The picture side of the card is of the RMS Baltic. The person sending the postcard noted that they," just left America on the ship". |
