| Happy Saint Patrick's Day. |
| We had a good bourse on Saturday with four members bringing in goods to sell and several shopping. |
| The program this Saturday is titled, "From 1865 to 1875 - the mixed franking of mails from Egypt that were processed both by the Egyptian Post Offices in Egypt and by the French Consular Post Office at Alexandria Egypt" by Chris Smith |
| We have five Saturdays this month, and the red box program has been going so well that we need help refilling the red boxes. Please join us for our second workday this month on the 29th. |
| My cover this week was sent from the U.S.S. Trenton (CL-11) on Saint Patrick's Day in 1936. The U.S.S. Trenton was launched on April 16, 1923. It spent most of World War Two in the South Pacific, but was also saw duty up in the Aleutian Islands of Alaska. It was decommissioned after the war and sold for scrap in 1946. It was scrapped in 1947. |
