| The METROPEX Stamp show is on October 17th and 18th. This is the second largest show in Minnesota. |
| The Second Sunday show is not happening this month. You can find your favorite dealers at METROPEX this month. |
| I also assumed that the library would still have its bourse, however the day may change due to METROPEX. Stay tuned for an update on that one. |
| My cover this week is from the Cape of Good Hope. I don't collect a lot of foreign covers, but sometimes I see something I like even though they do not "really" belong in my collection. The dealer I purchased this from identified it as #2. I don't know enough about the Cape of Good Hope to know if that is correct. It could be a #4. I also don't know the different blues or the paper colors. Maybe one of you knows how to identify or has examples of the different stamps to compare. Whatever it is, I'm happy with the cover. The only real question I have is why the Scott Classic Specialized Catalogue doesn't identify Cape of Good Hope on cover. |

| To sign up for the Toozeday Nooze go to our website at NORPS.org, there you will find a link for the Toozeday Nooze and on the event page where you can sign up to receive the Nooze every week and keep up on events and programs at the library as well as happenings with the local stamp clubs and shows. I have been told this does not work with some phones but should be accessible from your computer. You do not need to be a member of the library to receive this, but I encourage you to do so. We are run and organized 100% by volunteers and your donations keep the doors open and the lights on. |
